Classification of Jacquard Fabrics

1. Classification based on variety characteristics: Generally, jacquard fabrics are mostly used for indoor decoration such as bed sheets, tablecloths, curtains, etc; Jacquard poplin, jacquard hemp yarn, and jacquard thread are mostly used in women's clothing.

2. According to the pattern classification, it is divided into two categories: large jacquard and small pattern (also known as small jacquard):

Jacquard: Jacquard fabric, also known as large patterned fabric, is a large patterned fabric woven using a jacquard machine. The number of warp yarns with complete patterned organization can range from hundreds to thousands. Jacquard is often based on one type of fabric (ground weave), while other or several different fabrics are used to display patterns on it, such as plain ground or satin patterns. Sometimes different colors of warp and weft yarns can also be used to create large colorful patterns on the fabric. It can also be paired with different fiber types, yarn counts, and different warp and weft densities to make various styles of jacquard fabrics. Jacquard patterns include flowers, dragons and phoenixes, animals, mountains and rivers, figures, etc. In the entire fabric, there are single flowers, 2 flowers, 4 flowers or more of the same pattern, woven using a jacquard machine. The number of warp loops ranges from several hundred to over a thousand, and the pattern is large and exquisite, with clear color layers and a strong sense of standing.

Jacquard: Jacquard weave is a type of woven fabric structure. It is commonly used for thin fabrics, with a compact and delicate appearance, and a characteristic pattern that is not very prominent. Small jacquard weave is a type of weave that uses a multi arm loom to form various small patterns on the surface of a fabric through changes in two or more types of fabric weave. If various small patterned tissues of the same or different colors as the ground tissue are configured on plain or twill ground. A small pattern is a type of organization with relatively concentrated points or floating lines in longitude and latitude. The types of patterns include linear, checkered, and scattered patterns. Small jacquard weave fabrics have a compact and delicate appearance, with less prominent and exaggerated patterns. They are often used in thin fabrics and are increasingly widely used.

3. According to the color classification, it can be divided into multi-color jacquard and monochrome jacquard:

Single color jacquard is a jacquard dyed fabric: the jacquard fabric is first woven by a jacquard loom before dyeing and finishing, and the finished fabric is in solid color.

Multicolor jacquard is a color woven jacquard fabric: the yarn is dyed first, then woven on a jacquard loom, and finally sorted. Therefore, there are more than two colors of color woven jacquard fabric. The fabric is rich in color, not monotonous, and has a strong sense of three-dimensional pattern, with a higher grade.

4. Jacquard fabrics also come in polyester, blended, and pure cotton materials. No matter which material is used to make jacquard, the precision and density of the weaving method are very neat, and the flowers woven are very beautiful.

5. Some jacquard fabrics are made of nylon, spandex, or silk, which have bright colors, exquisite flowers, and a smooth and luxurious overall effect.
